Kimberly L. Becker, of Cherokee/Celtic/Teutonic descent, is a member of Wordcraft Circle of Native Writers and Storytellers. The recipient of a 2010 grant from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, Maryland, her poetry appears in many literary journals and anthologies, including 2River, Kakalak, Red Ink, storySouth, and Yellow Medicine Review. She also publishes fiction, non-fiction and reviews at places such as Dead Mule, Her Circle and News from Indian Country. She is currently working on radio play adaptations of Cherokee legend.
