Tami Haaland is the author of two books of poetry: When We Wake in the Night, and Breath in Every Room, winner of the Nicholas Roerich Prize. Her poems have appeared in a variety of periodicals, including High Desert Journal, Redheaded Stepchild, Life and Legends, Consequence and many anthologies, including The Ecopoetry Anthology (Trinity University Press) and Literature: An Introduction (Pearson).  Haaland’s work has been featured on The Writer’s Almanac, Verse Daily, and American Life in Poetry. Haaland teaches at Montana State University Billings, where she currently chairs the Department of English, Philosophy and Modern Languages.
